A couple of years ago, Granny made eyelash scarves for the girls. Abby saw that it matched Hannah's sleeper on Thursday and I couldn't resist getting a few shots. It's not actually been cold enough for the scarves, mind you, but at the slightest hint of cool weather, the kids have the mittens and hats pulled out. Never mind that in January, Noah will probably just run around outside barefoot, barely with any clothes on. For now, they bundle up. We have had some really beautiful weather this October, which has brought up an interesting idea from Emmy girl, intelligent as she is. She suggested that we do school in July and have October off for basking in the beauty of Autumn. (Okay, so she didn't exactly say "basking", but I know it's what she meant!). After assuring Seth that it would still give us some time in the summer for camping, he was all for it! So, we'll see how things go. Not sure that I can pull together all the next year's school books by July, but it's good incentive.
