Flag Day 2011

On June 14th, we celebrated Flag Day. We spent the week before doing a Unit Study about Flag Day and learned so much about the symbol of our country.
We invited some friends over, and Rachel and Joanna came also. Mom got us all flags to wave in the parade. Each of the children decorated their bicycles and I made Sam an "Uncle Sam" hat.

Getting bikes, strollers and wagons decorated for the big parade!

Here are all of the kids with their bikes and strollers.

Here I am pulling the wagon.

Here's a picture of Joanna that we thought was adorable.

Try as we might, we just couldn't get the parade video to upload and work.
Special thank you to Emily for getting this post ready to go for us.
