Just wait until she sees the new one!
For nearly six years we've talked of building a play set outside for the children. Shortly after we moved here, we were given this old, rusty metal swing set. It worked. We didn't complain. We were happy to have something. That swing set has gotten a lot older and a lot more unsafe since then and when Papaw saw a wooden play set in a store flyer yesterday, well, we thought we had found what we wanted. After some research online last night, we changed our minds. Probably not going to hold up to 6 children and although the price was right, we didn't want to waste what little we had to spend, so... off to the home improvement store today with pictures in hand of what we wanted to build. Papaw's knowledge and skills are such a blessing to us because we really had no idea where to start. As Jeremiah and Papaw were getting ready to check out, an employee asked if they were working with a contractor and they answered, "No." The man then made sure that they were given a discount. I'm not sure what it was, but it saved us probably $100, if not more. Thank you, Lord!
That is perfectly Samuel!
After spending an incredible amount of time at the store picking out the lumber and supplies, we headed home to start demolition of the old swing set and get organized for a big day of building.
