Golden Orb Weaver - Update

Remember our spider from a few weeks ago? Well, in my research online, I had read that she would lay her eggs and build a cocoon for them and then put them in nearby shrubs or bushes. Jeremiah was outside this morning trimming the bushes and sure enough, he found her cocoon! It will be very interesting to watch. Maybe we'll even get to see the baby spiders emerge. My children all think it's very sad that the mama spider dies before her babies are born.
