today - 5 days old!

We've made it to day 5! Samuel is a joy to our family. Mommy relishes all the feeding times because there are so many others who want to hold him, too. We saw the pediatrician this afternoon and Samuel is thriving. He has lost 9 ounces, but that's normal and all of my children have surpassed their birth weight by 2 weeks, so he'll be fine. He is eating well and often! He does have a bit of janudice and that is also normal. We will just continue to keep him in front of the sunny windows for another couple of days and it will run it's course.

Oh, and in case you were wondering...he's gonna have BROWN EYES! Yay!
