Conqueror's Through Christ - The Store!

Tonight was the final night for CTC Club until the fall and the children were given their book award ribbons and their bucks to shop in the store. Oh what fun they all had!

Jeremiah made sure that Emily, Seth, Abby and Noah had perfect attendance this year and so did he. I was unable to make it twice due to Hannah and I being sick. They were recognized for that. Each one of them had completed an entire memory work book, so they got their beautiful ribbons. However, Emily had completed 4 memory work books and thus received 4 ribbons and as you can see the ribbons get bigger the more books she does. Bro. Gary made her go back to her seat each time before he called her name for the next ribbon. He enjoyed getting a little fun out of that.

Emily had almost 300 bucks to spend tonight and she was absolutely delighted to find a Scofield KJV Study Bible in the store along with a pretty pink Bible Cover. I believe her daddy is so proud that he is going to get her name put on it for her. Seth also bought a Bible. He got a children's study Bible which is awesome! Seth bought an alarm clock that is a police siren and blue light. Yeah. Aren't you glad he's my son so you don't have to hear that go off every morning! Abby was thrilled to have found a princess 35mm camera. After Emily and Seth got real cameras for Christmas, she has been asking for one ever since. Noah got a 12-pack of play-doh (Daddy loves that! NOT!) among lots of other things. They all brought home so many things, but Emily was also able to purchase items for all of her brothers and sisters because she had so many bucks. She bought Hannah some building blocks, Seth a Bible Cover and Abby a horse game that she is saving to give her at Christmas, and a motorcycle for Noah for Christmas. Tonight before bed, Abby said to me, "Mommy, thank you for taking us to King's Kids". (That's what it used to be called and we still slip and call it that now sometimes.)

Hannah with her new blocks.

We are so proud of them for hiding God's Word in their heart and I know for a fact that they enjoy it because they are already excited about learning Psalm 136 with me this summer and they don't get anything for that! Just the joy of learning God's Word. Seth, Emily and I already have the first 9 verses memorized.

Congratulations Emily, Seth, Abby & Noah! You all did such a great job. Mom and Dad must be proud. Keep up the good work!
